Chimney Removal in Laverstock

MD Roofing were asked to remove a redundant chimney on a property in Laverstock, Salisbury, as part of a wider roof replacement project. The chimney was no longer needed and had become a weak point in the roof, with the potential for leaks around the flashing and future maintenance costs. Taking it out before the new roof went on was the smartest, most cost-effective option.

Our team set up safe access, then dismantled the chimney section by section, controlling debris and keeping disruption to a minimum for the homeowner. Once the stack was down, we made good the opening, tied in the structure and prepared the area so the new roofing could run straight through.
